  • Les Pardines 1819 in Encamp has been named a “Recommended” restaurant in the Michelin Guide 2026, raising Andorra’s total of recommended entries to.

Les Pardines 1819 in Encamp has been added to the Michelin Guide 2026 as a "Recommended" restaurant, the guide announced at its gala in Málaga. The entry brings Andorra’s total of establishments in that category to six. The guide also notes Kökosnøt (Kokosnot) as "temporarily closed for relocation."

The restaurant, which is part of the Les Pardines 1819 Mountain Suites & SPA and occupies a restored borda at the entrance to the Pardines path, offers market cuisine with Pyrenean influences based on local and proximate products. Chef Òscar Villalba, a former pupil of Oriol Rovira (Els Casals), leads the kitchen; co‑owner Josep Maria Puy praised the team’s effort and thanked customers for their support.

Among the other Andorran restaurants listed as "Recommended" are Beç, Celler d'en Toni, Koy Hermitage and Solineu Club Hermitage, which the guide had already recognised in previous editions. Beç’s chef Rodrigo Martínez welcomed the new distinction and said such recommendations typically signal that a restaurant is close to earning a Michelin star. He added that while Andorran gastronomy has long been developing, the recent push toward higher quality is relatively new and further recognitions can be expected as chefs, restaurateurs and investors continue to raise standards.

Andorra retains a single Michelin star in the 2026 edition: Ibaya, in Soldeu, held onto its star at the Málaga ceremony. At the same event Michelin awarded 25 first stars to debut restaurants across Spain, promoted five venues from one to two stars, and confirmed the 16 restaurants that continue to hold three stars.

The inclusion of Les Pardines 1819 and the maintenance of Ibaya’s star underline the growing international attention on Andorran gastronomy as the country continues to consolidate its presence in the Michelin Guide.
