The Fundació ONCA marked Andorra's Constitution Day with a concert titled *Constitució: convivència i projecte compartit*, using orchestral music to symbolise community living and shared values.

Artistic director Joan Anton Rechi designed the programme around the core principles of the Constitution, drawing parallels between an orchestra's harmony and societal cohesion. "An orchestra clearly exemplifies society—a group of individuals uniting to create something greater, all pulling in the same direction. It's a strong model for community life under the Constitution's framework," Rechi said.

The performance featured works by composers including Benjamin Britten, Arvo Pärt, Dmitri Shostakovich, Samuel Barber, and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, each linked to social or political themes. It opened with Pärt's piece, commissioned by Jordi Savall to honour the Madrid bombings, setting a tone of reflection blended with hope. Rechi emphasised an optimistic outlook, aiming to remind audiences of their collective strength. "Together we are stronger, living under the Constitution's umbrella—the rules that guide our coexistence. We must celebrate this community and the document that binds us," he added.

Musical director Antonio Planelles Gallego described the event as a call for peace woven through every selection. Shostakovich's Chamber Symphony, for instance, honours victims of fascism and war. "Peace isn't just the absence of conflict or violence; it's the presence of well-being," Planelles Gallego noted.

The concert highlighted shared values, urging listeners to value unity and the Constitution's role in fostering a peaceful society.
