Andorra's cultural sector has welcomed Silence Productions, a new audiovisual company dedicated to producing feature films, series, and formats for television and streaming platforms with a strong international focus.

Founded and led by executive producer Marc Vadillo, the company is working on its first feature film project, set for 2026, though specifics are not yet public. It aims to strengthen the Principat's audiovisual industry by attracting foreign investment through co-productions with firms in Spain, France, and the United States, while fostering local professional development and economic benefits.

Vadillo, who trained as a producer at the ESCAC film school, built his career at DeAPlaneta, a major Spanish film distributor. He has contributed to projects featured at leading festivals including San Sebastián, Sitges, and the Rome Film Festival.

The company plans to compete globally with high creative and industrial standards, Vadillo explained, while building a solid local audiovisual framework. A key part of its catalogue will feature Catalan-language content that incorporates Andorran territory, identity, and context as core narrative elements.

Silence Productions is pursuing a long-term approach, centred on developing its own projects, forging stable partnerships, and earning trust from investors and institutions. The launch positions Andorra as a potential hub for content financing and co-productions amid Europe's push for new production centres.
