Andorra la Vella's Unnic entertainment hub surpasses 700,000 visitors since March 2023 opening, with 55%

Unnic, the Andorra la Vella entertainment complex featuring Gran Casino Andorra, has exceeded 700,000 visitors across its six floors since opening in March 2023, coinciding with its third anniversary.

Last year, the venue drew more than 250,000 people, up 15% from 2024. About 55% of all visitors—over 360,000—entered the casino, with roughly 70% of them from abroad. The other 340,000-350,000 guests visited the restaurant, La Disco, or events at Sala Green Box.

At a press conference marking the milestone, marketing director Pedro Morán hailed Unnic as a key tourism asset alongside ski resorts. He highlighted clients who come solely for gaming but stressed the broader appeal, with many enjoying the full range of offerings. For 2026, Morán said the focus is on drawing more foreign guests, especially from France, after the RN-20 road closure affected access. The venue also plans to upgrade its events by shifting from tribute acts to performances by established bands and comedians from neighboring countries.

Commercial director Toni Alonso called Unnic an ideal complement to Andorra's tourism in gastronomy, leisure, gaming, and entertainment. The site hosted over 400 public and private events in 2025, with more than 250 public events already scheduled for 2026 and private bookings expected to top 300—bolstered by nearly 60 private events in the year's first two months.

General director Jose Fulgencio Cano noted steady growth in visitors, events, and revenue, pulling in more locals and tourists alike. He positioned Unnic as Andorra's top destination for celebrations, dining, music, and entertainment, now evoking a "wow" effect upon entry.

Upcoming events include the Unnic Comedy Special Show by MyAndbank on March 19, featuring José Corbacho and David Fernández with their Barcelona debut "David y Jose, no somos Estopa." On March 26, Cates amb Sabors offers a premium tasting of rare wines totaling 1,000 Parker points.

Unnic Talent, a locally adapted talent show inspired by global TV formats, has surged in popularity since launching as a test. Semifinals at Red Bar showcase Andorran musicians, performers, and novel acts, driving strong viewership on Unnic's YouTube channel. The grand final is set for April 15 in Sala Green Box.
