Valencian Journalist Nerea San Félix to Speak at Andorra's Catalan Language Campaign

Nerea San Félix Palencia, a Valencian journalist and content creator currently working on TV3's *APM?* programme, is among the speakers at Andorra's Eixivern campaign. The event, aimed at promoting Catalan language use on social media, takes place on 21 February at Unsquare.

San Félix has built her career around television and online content, starting young with a clear ambition to enter the industry. She sought out internships and local presenting gigs early on, eventually landing a daily live segment at 25 on the relaunched public broadcaster À Punt in Valencia—a moment she described as overwhelming, even bringing her to tears on air. Her move to *APM?* at TV3 fulfilled a long-held dream of working in entertainment, marking a pivotal shift in her professional path.

Social media forms a core part of her work, which she treats as seriously as her TV roles, complete with scripting and production. It also provides her livelihood. Catalan—or more specifically, Valencian—is central to her output. "Speaking Valencian is like speaking to the people you love," she said. She emphasised the need for visibility: "If we don't give the language prominence, someone will erase it."

Her participation in Eixivern stems from this conviction. The campaign supports broader efforts to encourage Catalan across digital platforms, particularly empowering young creators who often feel hesitant to use it online. San Félix looks forward to sharing the stage with diverse speakers, including Wizproblema, with whom she recently collaborated on an *APM?* report—"I laughed a lot with him"—and Laura, whose recipes she follows avidly. "Each will bring a different perspective, and it will be fun," she added.

Looking ahead, she remains with *APM?* and awaits the launch of *Fes-me viral* on 2CAT, a heartwarming contest featuring grandparents and grandchildren.
