Andbus, Andorra's public bus operator, has donated €2,400 to the Andorran Association for Alzheimer's Disease (AAMA) under its corporate social responsibility programme.
The funds will go entirely towards the association's support and self-care initiative for relatives of people with Alzheimer's. This includes a range of training workshops and emotional support sessions for caregivers, a group that often faces significant emotional and physical exhaustion as the illness progresses.
The move builds on Andbus's growing partnerships with local entities in recent years, such as Assandca, AMMA, Autea and Special Olympics Andorra.
It comes as the company ramps up preparations for the third Andbus Solidari Forum, scheduled for September in collaboration with Andtropia. The forum has become a vital bridge between businesses and the third sector. Its first two editions backed 24 social projects and generated €25,000, with emphasis on mental health, inclusion and disability.
