Physiotherapist, osteopath, and women's health advocate Mireia Grossmann will present a free public lecture on female pelvic floor health on 26 June at 7pm in Andorra la Vella's Auditori de la Llacuna.
Titled "Female Pelvic Floor: A World Between the Legs and Beyond," the session is part of the Pelvic Health Awareness Programme, led by the Col·legi de Fisioterapeutes de Catalunya in collaboration with the Col·legi Oficial de Fisioterapeutes d’Andorra. The programme seeks to provide the public with accurate, current, and approachable information on women's pelvic floor health.
Grossmann, a recognised expert in pelvic floor issues, female sexuality, and menopause, will examine the structure's essential role throughout a woman's life. She will cover its connections to urinary continence, sexuality, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, menopause, posture, and physical and emotional wellbeing.
