Andorra's Minister for Social Affairs, Trini Marín, has announced the expansion of the Radars project, designed to strengthen community support for elderly and vulnerable residents, with Ordino parish now on board and initial outreach underway to Sant Julià de Lòria.
The government approved a cooperation agreement with Ordino last week, enabling the project's rollout there. Implementation will start with the creation of a local database and coordination system to identify risks and enhance community responses, Marín said.
Meetings with Sant Julià de Lòria parish began this week to extend the initiative further.
In Andorra la Vella, Marín praised the commercial sector's involvement, noting that about 40 businesses have already shown interest in collaborating. She indicated this figure could rise in the days ahead.
