Andorra Opens €10,000 Researcher Mobility Grants for 2026

The Andorran government has opened applications for researcher mobility grants totalling €10,000 for activities in 2026.

The Ministry of Institutional Relations, Education and Universities approved the call to encourage travel among Andorra's research community and boost the international sharing of research findings. Funds can support research stays at R&D centres, companies or support institutions, as well as active participation in scientific congresses—either in-person or virtual—where applicants present scientific papers.

Supported activities must occur between 19 September 2025 and 31 December 2026. The grants also aim to foster scientific collaboration between local researchers and international peers, helping to build new ties or strengthen existing ones.

Eligible applicants include Andorran nationals, those with at least five consecutive years of legal residency in the Principat, or full-time, in-person doctoral students at universities based in Andorra.

Applications open the day after the call's publication in the Butlletí Oficial del Principat d’Andorra (BOPA), scheduled for this coming Wednesday, and close on Friday, 18 September 2026. Submissions, including required documents, must go through the government's electronic headquarters at https://www.e-tramits.ad.
