Police in Andorra arrested several individuals over the past weekend for a range of offences, including assaults, property damage, drug possession and drunk driving.

In Sant Julià de Lòria, officers detained a 57-year-old man on Sunday night on suspicion of crimes against physical and moral integrity. The incident occurred at a private home during a family dispute, where the man confronted one of his daughters violently. The mother and another daughter intervened and were also assaulted. Police noted that the targeted daughter had previously suffered at least one other attack by the same man. Multiple patrols responded to the call and took the suspect into custody for judicial proceedings.

Earlier that Sunday afternoon in Andorra la Vella, a 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of crimes against liberty after an altercation at his workshop. A group of minors had been kicking and punching the premises' glass when he allegedly forced two of them inside against their will and threatened them with shears. After releasing them, one minor retrieved an 11cm kitchen knife from home and discarded it in a rubbish bin upon police arrival. Officers recovered the weapon during the intervention.

At a hotel in La Cortinada, a 31-year-old resident was arrested over the weekend for crimes against property and home inviolability. He damaged several doors and forced entry into a room occupied by two others, causing approximately €2,500 in losses.

In Encamp, two men faced charges related to public health crimes for possessing traces of cocaine and other narcotics. A 34-year-old was stopped early Sunday with a wrapper containing cocaine remnants. On Friday night, a 24-year-old acted suspiciously in a public car park; officers found a paper packet with drug traces, and he resisted violently, injuring two agents. He also faces charges for crimes against public function and physical and moral integrity.

Drink-driving arrests last week included a 75-year-old man stopped Tuesday afternoon on Avinguda Salou, driving the wrong way with a 1.63 reading after erratic manoeuvres. Over the weekend, a 46-year-old tested at 1.78 following a minor collision on the CG3, and a 49-year-old tourist registered 1.85 at the Riu Runer border crossing.

Finally, another 57-year-old man was detained in Andorra la Vella for crimes against the administration of justice and public function after breaching multiple expulsion orders.
