Police in Ordino arrested a 20-year-old man early Sunday morning as the alleged perpetrator of a sexual assault on a 17-year-old girl. Authorities acted after Hospital Nostra Senyora de Meritxell notified them following treatment of the victim, who reported suffering a rape. The case remains under judicial investigation, with no further details released on the circumstances.

Over the weekend, officers in Escaldes-Engordany detained a 38-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman after they mutually assaulted each other at her home early Saturday morning. During the intervention, police seized 86.8 grams of hashish found on a table in the residence. Both face charges related to offences against physical and moral integrity, with the drugs incorporated into the probe.

In Andorra la Vella, a 22-year-old man was arrested earlier in the week as the suspected author of offences against physical and moral integrity, public safety, and honour. The incident occurred early Tuesday at the family home, where he allegedly punched his father and brandished an 8-centimetre knife. He insulted officers during his initial detention. The same individual was rearrested Sunday night after police found him intoxicated on the street. While attempting to assist him, officers intervened when he reacted violently upon seeing his partner, following a recent argument. He resisted, insulted them, pushed, and tried to strike an agent.

Police made two arrests over the weekend for offences against public health. A 35-year-old man was detained outside a nightclub in Escaldes-Engordany with 0.7 grams of cocaine and a marijuana cigarette. Separately, an 18-year-old was stopped near a nightlife venue in Andorra la Vella carrying 11 ecstasy pills, 4.1 grams of marijuana, and 0.8 grams of hashish.

Drink-driving controls last week led to eight arrests. A 36-year-old man registered 2.04 grams per litre of blood after a Friday afternoon crash at the Prat Salit roundabout in Santa Coloma, involving four vehicles and injuring six people. He also faces charges for an offence against physical and moral integrity. The other drivers, aged 34 to 56, had rates between 1.09 and 1.86.

Additionally, a 19-year-old non-resident was detained in Pas de la Casa for breaching a prior expulsion order.
