Andorra Launches Tenders for Digital Teacher Academy and Curriculum Overhaul

The Andorran Ministry of Institutional Relations, Education and Universities has launched public tenders for an online pedagogical office and a comprehensive review of curricula in the Andorran School system, aiming to strengthen teacher training and align programs with modern standards.

The primary tender calls for a specialized company to deliver pedagogical support, coordination and strategic guidance in deploying a digital academy dedicated to continuous educator development. This platform will integrate key Andorran educational frameworks, such as professional competency guidelines, curricular standards, psycho-pedagogical and methodological principles, and rules for school organization, operations and student coexistence. It ensures training aligns with ongoing reforms and supports career progression.

Content will feature short online training modules designed to build teachers' skills, abilities and classroom innovation. The digital format offers flexibility to reach all school staff, harmonizing curricular, methodological and psycho-pedagogical elements. Educators will receive resources to evaluate and refine teaching processes, promoting more inclusive, forward-thinking and pupil-focused learning.
