Altaveu Lists Dozens of Andorran Deaths from May to December 2025

Altaveu has published its latest list of recent deaths across Andorra's parishes, recording dozens of passings from late May through mid-December 2025.

The most recent entries include Rosario Martín Sánchez, who died in Encamp on Saturday, December 20, aged 78; Laura Maria Vieira de Sá Alves de Freitas in Andorra la Vella on Thursday, December 18, aged 55; and Manuela Ventura Claramunt, also in Andorra la Vella on the same day, aged 98.

Earlier in December, Rosario Balletbó Alís passed away in Sant Julià de Lòria on Saturday the 13th at 103, while Pere Font Moles died in Encamp on Friday the 12th aged 99. Victoria Gómez García died in Sant Julià de Lòria that same day at 83.

The list continues with Jose Iglesias Villanueva in Escaldes-Engordany on December 11 aged 70; Esperança Marco Pinos in Encamp and Alfonso Garcia Teruel in La Massana on December 7, aged 87 and 67 respectively; and others through the autumn months.

Notable centenarians and near-centenarians include Maria Canut Fornales in Andorra la Vella, who reached 102 before dying on August 16; Jacqueline Pradère, also in Andorra la Vella, aged 99 on November 4; and Maria Cinca Baró in Encamp, aged 98 on August 25.

Younger deaths appear throughout, such as Carlos Manuel Miguel Chozo in Andorra la Vella on October 5 aged 36, and Xavi Mortés Valverde there on November 5 aged 51.

Parish distribution shows Escaldes-Engordany and Andorra la Vella with the highest numbers, followed by Sant Julià de Lòria, Encamp, and others including La Massana, Ordino, Canillo, and Pas de la Casa.

The compilation, drawn from local records, reflects a broad cross-section of Andorran residents by age and origin, with no causes of death specified.
