Andorra closed 2025 with 799 active associations registered nationwide, up 20 from 779 the previous year, according to Statistics Department figures.
The entities fall into six categories. General associations formed the largest group at 65.2%, totaling 521. Sports clubs accounted for 25.8% with 206, sports federations 4.9% with 39, sports action associations 18, sports grouping associations 10, and foreign associations 5.
Andorra la Vella held the largest share at 47.1%, or 376 associations. Escaldes-Engordany followed with 17.8%, and Encamp with 11.3%.
Active foundations also rose to 37 in 2025. Private foundations comprised 81.1%, while public ones made up 18.9%. Andorra la Vella hosted 19, or 51.4% of the total. Both Escaldes-Engordany and Sant Julià de Lòria had six each, at 16.2%.
