Police in Andorra stopped two YouTubers riding electric scooters at excessive speed while crossing the country from one end to the other for a vlog, but opted not to issue fines.
The incident, shared on social media by content creator Jutrax, occurred as the young men travelled from the Pas de la Casa towards Sant Julià de Lòria. While riding in the middle of the road, officers pulled them over. The riders quickly limited their scooters' speed, and one approached the police to explain their project.
He claimed they were going at 25 km/h, attributing any faster pace to "inertia from the downhill." Video footage, however, showed one scooter registering 49 km/h. The officers informed them they had clocked 55 km/h and stated that "this is something we shouldn't allow."
Instead of a penalty, the police gave a warning: "Don't ride in the middle of the road—stay to the side and wear reflective vests." The YouTubers apologised, continued their journey to Sant Julià, and later praised the officers, saying they had wished them success with the blog and calling them "great cops."
