Andorra la Vella Publishes Resident Deaths from May to December 2025

Andorra la Vella continues to publish notices of resident deaths spanning late May to mid-December 2025, now extending across all seven parishes with ages from 36 to 103, as tracked by Altaveu.

The updated list, published on December 18, adds recent entries including Laura Maria Vieira de Sá Alves de Freitas from Andorra la Vella, who died at 55. Among prior listings, Manuela Ventura Claramunt from Andorra la Vella passed away at 98 on December 13, the same day Rosario Balletbó Alís died in Sant Julià de Lòria at 103. Pere Font Moles from Encamp was 99 when he died on December 12, alongside Victoria Gómez García from Sant Julià de Lòria at 83.

Further December deaths include Jose Iglesias Villanueva from Escaldes-Engordany at 70 on December 11; Esperança Marco Pinos from Encamp at 87 and Alfonso Garcia Teruel from La Massana at 67 on December 7; Pere Guiu Torrabadella from Sant Julià de Lòria at 72 and Fernando Paton Quiles from La Massana at 77 on December 6; Pedro Rodrigalvarez Nares from Andorra la Vella at 81 on December 5; Belinda López Rodríguez from Andorra la Vella at 73 and Alfredo Casas Navarro from Encamp at 73 on December 4; and Maria del Carmen Garcia Oliva from Encamp at 57 on December 3.

The record traces back through November—with cases like Francesca Martínez Marín from Andorra la Vella at 93 and Fernando Ramirez Ortega from Escaldes-Engordany at 85 on November 18—and into October, August, July, June, and late May. Notable centenarians include Maria Canut Fornales from Andorra la Vella at 102 on August 16 and Jacqueline Pradère from the same parish at 99 on November 4. Younger losses feature Carlos Manuel Miguel Chozo from Andorra la Vella at 36 on October 5, Xavi Mortés Valverde from Andorra la Vella at 51 on November 5, and others in their 50s, 60s, and 70s across parishes including Canillo, Ordino, and Pas de la Casa in Encamp.

Escaldes-Engordany and Andorra la Vella remain the most represented, followed by Encamp, Sant Julià de Lòria, La Massana, Ordino, and Canillo. No causes are listed in the public notices, which follow customary practice for community acknowledgments.
