Andorra's electricity demand for 2025 reached 584,233 MWh, marking a 2.5% increase compared to the previous year, according to data released by the Statistics Department.

In December 2025, monthly electricity consumption stood at 66,038 MWh, up 1.9% from December 2024. Imports for that month totalled 58,402 MWh, a 2.6% rise year-on-year, while domestically produced energy fell 2.9%. Over the full year, imports amounted to 448,384 MWh (+3.4%), and local production hit 135,959 MWh, down 0.2% from 2024.

Overall energy demand in December, measured in tonnes of oil equivalent (TEP), was 21,463.2 TEP, reflecting an 8.5% annual increase. The yearly total reached 201,348.4 TEP, up 1%. Key drivers included domestic fuel (+39.5% in December, +7.4% yearly), petrol (+11.5% monthly, +4.3% yearly), and electricity (+1.9% monthly, +2.2% yearly). Locomotive gasoil bucked the trend, dropping 11.5% in December and 4.4% over the year.

For customers of state utility FEDA, December demand was 42,013 MWh (+2.6%), with the annual figure at 370,796 MWh (+1.9%). Sectoral shifts in December showed strong growth in public administrations (+36%) and other services (+5.8%), offset by a 29.7% decline at ski resorts. Yearly highlights included construction and related activities (+19.7%) and industry (+12.6%), while ski resorts fell 6.9% and public lighting dropped 6.1%.
