Andorran Banking has donated €6,000 to Càritas Andorrana for its Acollida – Primary Care programme, which provides essential support to people and families facing vulnerability. The gift forms part of an eight-year partnership focused on funding initiatives with tangible social benefits.
This year, Càritas has supported 294 families, encompassing 512 individuals—a number comparable to the previous year. The organisation addressed 1,112 issues in 2024, resolving 75% through direct assistance, advice or specialist referrals.
Càritas has noted a rise in working families struggling with everyday costs, driven by higher housing prices and the broader increase in living expenses. It also stresses the vital role of emotional guidance for those grappling with isolation or displacement.
