Creand Fundació has increased its financial support to Andorra's Red Cross and Càritas by 32% in 2025, allocating a total of €50,000 to help vulnerable families access food and essential goods.

The funding assisted 277 families, comprising 515 people, throughout the year. Francesca Ros, director of Creand Fundació, said the foundation aims to stay close to those in need, address social challenges, and tackle ongoing vulnerability in Andorran society.

For the Andorran Red Cross, the partnership strengthened the Solidària Shop, a key resource operating since 2020 for low-income households. In 2025, it served 204 families (394 individuals) through eight distributions totaling 10,031 kg of products—equivalent to 25,137 units of basic necessities and Christmas packages. Of these, 87.3% were food items, with the rest covering household and personal hygiene products. Creand Fundació contributed €35,270 to the initiative. Carine Leclerc, the shop's coordinator, noted that quarterly donations from the foundation enable a wider range of products, larger quantities per visit, and better tailoring to household needs.

Meanwhile, Càritas Andorrana introduced its "Jo com tu" aid model this year, using prepaid cards after closing the Food Bank in February. The program supported 73 families (121 people) with 163 food assistance instances, 36% for emergencies or one-off situations. Creand Fundació covered purchases from January to November at a cost of €14,706—about 30% of the project's total expenses—and donated 185.96 kg of hygiene and household items early in the year. Marta Roma, a social worker at Càritas, said families have welcomed the person-centered approach, which streamlines aid access, upholds privacy, and promotes personal autonomy.

Through these efforts, Creand Fundació continues backing local social organizations to improve life for those in precarious situations.
