Encamp parish council has approved a record 2026 budget totaling 46.6 million euros, an 8.73% increase from the 42.9 million euros of 2025. The budget allocates 15.8 million euros to investments, up from 13.8 million the previous year, funding infrastructure, sports facilities, and public space enhancements in Encamp and Pas de la Casa.

Cònsol Major Laura Mas, leading the majority, described the plan as an "ambitious but responsible" one focused on transforming public areas, improving resident services, and positioning the parish as a hub for sports and family tourism. The debt ratio remains low at 35.64%, well under the 200% legal limit, underscoring strong financial health.

Major projects include continued multi-year work at Pas de la Casa ski base station with SAETDE under a new concession (2.8 million euros) and the avenue Joan Martí overhaul, with 3 million euros allocated next year toward a total cost of 6.9 million euros expected to extend into 2027 or 2028. The Pas de la Casa church square renovation, awarded to Promocions i Obres GEC SAU for 1.409 million euros, will start in May 2026. It involves granite paving, universal accessibility improvements, pedestrian reorganization, restored church links, facade and roof repairs, sustainable landscaping, new urban furniture, a covered bus shelter for 30 people, upgraded utilities, and low-energy lighting.

Sports facilities receive heavy emphasis. Pas de la Casa sports centre gets 1 million euros for initial remodelling, plus 200,000 euros for gym equipment. The former nursery there will become a 700,000-euro youth leisure space. Encamp sports complex funding covers reception and ground-floor upgrades (500,000 euros), rooftop solar panels (440,000 euros), and air conditioning renewal (360,000 euros).

Contracts awarded during the session include congress hall and toilets remodelling at the sports complex (383,413.80 euros to Construccions Neu) and padel court resurfacing with turf at Prada de Moles (286,455.14 euros, also to Construccions Neu). Other items feature Baronia hostel remodelling and water network upgrades to Port d'Envalira (2.5 million euros).
