Escaldes-Engordany Empodera’t Programme Sells Out with 97 Participants

The Escaldes-Engordany parish council has praised the sixth edition of its Empodera’t programme, which concluded over the last four months of 2025 with 97 participants filling all spots in eight workshops.

Of the attendees, 95 were women and two were men. Council officials noted that the complete sell-out across activities underscores the programme's status as a leading option for women's personal, social, and emotional growth. Participants also contributed suggestions for content in future editions.

Laughter therapy remained the top choice, with 19 participants who valued its role in emotional regulation and general wellbeing. Ceramics followed closely, prompting two sessions of 10 people each to meet demand, for a total of 20. The remaining workshops also reached full capacity: outdoor tai chi and yoga each drew 10 attendees; the artificial intelligence session had 14; and the pelvic floor health and Christmas macramé workshops attracted 11 participants apiece.

Since its launch in 2021, Empodera’t has focused on women's empowerment through awareness-raising, skill-building, and practical resources to foster individual progress and broader social transformation. The initiative promotes networking, community engagement, and the integration of attendee input to shape ongoing development.
