Firefighters responded to seven wind-related incidents on Sunday in Sant Julià de Lòria parish, primarily clearing four trees that fell across Carretera General 1 toward Os de Civís, along with structural debris and toppled motorcycles.

The Prevention and Extinction Corps handled all calls in this southern area, where gusts caused the most disruption. Crews attended the Os de Civís road four times between noon and just after 5 p.m., removing broken or overhanging trees to restore safe passage. During each visit, they inspected for additional risks to drivers, such as other weakened trees.

Further interventions in Sant Julià de Lòria involved building elements dislodged by the wind. A roughly 20-kilogram solar panel detached from a sixth-floor structure, hit a first-floor window, and fell to the ground, resulting in property damage but no injuries. Responders also recovered a chimney cap from a terrace and secured a precariously loose concrete slab.

Strong gusts also knocked over multiple motorcycles in the parish, some landing on the road and others piling onto each other, with damage limited to the vehicles.

No injuries were reported across the incidents, and all were resolved without personal harm, according to corps officials. The yellow wind warning from the Meteorological Service stayed in effect until 6 a.m. Monday.

The events followed a Saturday pre-alert from the Civil Protection Department, in anticipation of an orange alert for gusts reaching 100 km/h in valleys and over 140 km/h at peaks, with dropping temperatures and potential snow flurries. Conditions improved Monday under Atlantic high pressure, bringing stable sunshine, highs around 17°C in Andorra la Vella, and moderate northerly winds gusting to 60 km/h at higher elevations.
