The Patronat de Dames de Nostra Senyora de Meritxell has received a new donation of solidarity items from Grup Pyrénées to help meet the needs of the country’s most vulnerable families throughout the year. The contribution will allow the organisation to continue providing clothing, toys and other materials to children, adults and recently arrived people who lack basic resources.
President Cristina Cerqueda said the initiative is especially important because many items otherwise go unused, and through this channel those in need can receive what they lack. She stressed that needs persist beyond the Christmas period and that even a small gift, such as a storybook or a toy, can make a child very happy on their birthday.
