L’Abarset has donated €3,131.42 to the Fundació Privada Nostra Senyora de Meritxell to fund inclusion projects for people with disabilities.

The contribution came from proceeds of the charity event The TriVute, staged on 29 December and featuring music alongside social causes. Organisers sold 672 tickets for the gathering. Representatives from L’Abarset, SETAP 365 and the foundation handed over the cheque at the organisation’s headquarters on 19 January.

The funds will enable i&i Serveis, the foundation’s social and occupational inclusion arm, to take part in workshops, fairs and other events. The goal is to highlight the contributions of people with disabilities.

Celine Mandicó, the foundation’s director general, called the gift “an opportunity to keep raising awareness of the efforts by people with disabilities through active participation in public spaces”.

Àlex Orúe of SETAP 365 said The TriVute forms part of a responsible leisure approach designed to “make a positive impact on the country”.
