Over 150 Deaths Recorded in Andorra from Late July 2025 to January 2026

Local records from Altaveu now list over 150 deaths across Andorra's parishes from late July 2025 through 30 January 2026, with the most recent including Antonio Cabanillas Morales of Andorra la Vella, who died on 30 January at age 93.

Earlier that week, Isabel Moya Santander of Escaldes-Engordany passed away on 29 January at 90, followed by Alberto Monné Bonet of Escaldes-Engordany on 28 January at 76, Joan Pujal Areny of Sant Julià de Lòria on 27 January at 87, and Rosa Fortuny Mill of Andorra la Vella and Antonia Turné Grau of Sant Julià de Lòria on 25 January, aged 100 and 94.

Additional January losses featured Miquel Naudi Clop of Soldeu-Canillo on 11 January at 77, Ana Buendia Ponce of Escaldes-Engordany and Anna Càceres Gall of Pas de la Casa-Encamp on 10 January at 85, Lolita Guardia Caixas and Josep Palau Sarrais of Andorra la Vella on 9 January at 83 and 90, Cecília Riera Tarradelles on 8 January, Antonio Pereira Machado of Encamp on 7 January at 60, Cristian Mossoll Maurel of Encamp and Consuelo Boronat Goma of Sant Julià de Lòria on 6 January at 84 and 92.

Notable centenarians from late 2025 included Rosario Balletbó Alís of Sant Julià de Lòria on 13 December at 103, Pere Font Moles of Encamp on 12 December at 99, and Manuela Ventura Claramunt of Andorra la Vella on 18 December at 98. Younger deaths encompassed Carlos Manuel Miguel Chozo of Andorra la Vella on 5 October at 36 and Rija Lionel Ramanamihantatsoarana of Encamp on 10 August at 53.
