Andorra Updates List of Recent Deaths from July 2025 to January 2026

**Recent deaths in Andorra**

Altaveu has updated its list of recent deaths across Andorra's parishes, now covering residents who passed away from late July 2025 through 25 January 2026.

The two most recent entries are Rosa Fortuny Mill, 100, from Andorra la Vella, and Antonia Turné Grau, 94, from Sant Julià de Lòria, both on 25 January. Earlier that month, Maria Pilar Riba Font, 81, from Encamp died on 20 January; Mercè Fabregas Valero, 79, from Escaldes-Engordany on 18 January; and Laurent Chiaramonti Janin, 49, and Placido Rodriguez Rodriguez, 70, both from Encamp and Andorra la Vella respectively, on 17 January.

The record continues with Joan Barrot Badia, 73, from Escaldes-Engordany on 16 January; Luís Barbosa Ferreira, 61, from the same parish on 15 January; and Luis da Ponte Dias, 69, and Oriol Navarro Temprado, 32, both from Andorra la Vella on 14 January. Additional January deaths include Miquel Naudi Clop, 77, from Soldeu-Canillo on 11 January; Ana Buendia Ponce, 85, from Escaldes-Engordany and Anna Càceres Gall from Pas de la Casa-Encamp on 10 January; Lolita Guardia Caixas, 83, and Josep Palau Sarrais, 90, both from Andorra la Vella on 9 January; Antonio Pereira Machado, 60, from Encamp on 7 January; and Cristian Mossoll Maurel, 84, from Encamp and Consuelo Boronat Goma, 92, from Sant Julià de Lòria on 6 January.

Centenarians and those in their late 90s feature prominently, such as Rosario Balletbó Alís, 103, from Sant Julià de Lòria on 13 December 2025; Jacqueline Pradère, 99, from Andorra la Vella on 4 November 2025; Pere Font Moles, 99, from Encamp on 12 December 2025; Manuela Ventura Claramunt, 98, from Andorra la Vella on 18 December 2025; Maria Canut Fornales, 102, from Andorra la Vella on 16 August 2025; Maria Cinca Baró, 98, from Encamp on 25 August 2025; Telmo Bernat Rey, 97, from Encamp on 30 December 2025; Remedios Ortega Garcia, 96, from La Massana on 21 December 2025; and Dolores Oliva Ventosa, 95, from Escaldes-Engordany on 23 October 2025.

Younger residents listed include Carlos Manuel Miguel Chozo, 36, from Andorra la Vella on 5 October 2025, and Oriol Navarro Temprado, 32, noted above. Parishes with the highest numbers remain Escaldes-Engordany, Andorra la Vella, Encamp, and Sant Julià de Lòria.
