Police in Pas de la Casa arrested a 26-year-old man early Wednesday morning on suspicion of a sexual liberty offence after he allegedly assaulted a tourist in a nightclub. According to the victim's report, the man grabbed her by the neck as she exited the bathrooms, forcibly kissed her without consent, and continued despite her resistance and repeated pleas to stop. Her friends intervened to free her, and a security member from their group alerted patrolling officers, who detained the suspect shortly afterwards.

In a separate incident that same Wednesday afternoon, authorities in Sant Julià de Lòria arrested a 42-year-old man for an offence against physical and moral integrity after he allegedly shoved his partner against a wall at their shared home, causing a head injury.

These cases form part of a series of recent detentions reported by police. Over the past week, six tourists have been arrested for public health offences involving narcotics such as ecstasy, tusi, cocaine, and amphetamines. The seizures occurred at the Riu Runer border, the Franco-Andorran border, and outside a Soldeu nightclub. Additionally, three non-residents aged 20, 22, and 30 were detained in Pas de la Casa for breaching administrative expulsion orders. On Thursday morning, a 54-year-old driver was stopped in Soldeu with a blood alcohol level well above the legal limit.

Police also detailed a Thursday afternoon incident in Encamp, where they arrested a 53-year-old Norwegian resident outside the Andorran Secondary School on Riberaigües road. During a routine student dismissal with one-way traffic restrictions, the man drove against the flow, ignored orders to reverse, insulted officers in English, and twice accelerated towards them, striking one with his side mirror and causing minor injuries. He resisted arrest, requiring officers to remove him from the vehicle. His 13-year-old son, in the back seat, attacked the agents, kicking and biting one in the face. The father tested positive for cannabis at headquarters. Both received medical checks.

Judicial authorities released the father on provisional liberty by Friday, adjusting charges from attempted homicide to disobedience, injuries to public authority, and driving under the influence; his licence was revoked. The son repeated his aggression Friday morning at police offices during a visit with his mother, assaulting an officer who was providing translation. He was restrained and handcuffed but not arrested due to his age, with a dossier prepared for judicial review. Further inquiries are ongoing in all cases.
