Police discovered a man and a woman without vital signs on Friday afternoon in two guesthouses, one on Avinguda Meritxell in Andorra la Vella and the other on Avinguda Fiter i Rosell in Escaldes-Engordany.
The man, aged around 50 to 60, was found deceased in the Aconcagua aparthotel in Andorra la Vella. He had been out of contact for about three days, according to those close to him. Staff at a nearby restaurant he regularly visited alerted his brother after not seeing him for two days. The brother then notified police, who entered the premises and located the body.
In Escaldes-Engordany, the woman, also around 50 to 60 years old, was found dead at the El Roser guesthouse. She resided there as a tenant receiving social welfare benefits. Staff made repeated attempts to contact her without success, prompting police to enter her room.
