The Andorran government has approved the dismissal of Carla Guerrero Ruiz as its representative on the Caixa Andorrana de Seguretat Social (CASS) Board of Directors upon the expiry of her mandate on 27 April, while naming family doctor Josep Carles Rodríguez Picart as her successor with full powers.
The decree takes effect on 22 April. From then on, the government's four representatives on the board will be president Marc Galabert, Pilar Serrano, Jordi Cinca, and Josep Carles Rodríguez.
Guerrero Ruiz, a pharmacist, is leaving at the end of her natural term. The CASS board is the parapublic entity's highest representative and administrative body. Members serve four-year terms, renewable once consecutively. The board comprises the four government appointees, two representatives from salaried workers and similar groups, one for pensioners, and one for employers and self-employed individuals.
