Susanna Vela, president of the Social Democratic parliamentary group and general councillor, has filed a series of questions with both the Andorran government and the Sindicatura seeking detailed data on family reunification applications and approvals from 2022 to 2026, including figures available for the current year.

The inquiries request breakdowns of total submissions and granted cases by family composition, sponsor nationality of origin, and the economic sector or occupational activity of the sponsor. Social Democratic representatives emphasise that this disaggregation will allow for a sharper examination of migration patterns linked to the labour market.

The party's stated goal is to assess the administrative procedure's overall effects and changes, alongside its ties to Andorra's economic and social conditions. Questions cover annual trends in both requested and authorised reunifications, providing a comprehensive view of the phenomenon's development over the five years.
