Andorra's head of government, Xavier Espot, is set to participate in the eighth European Political Community summit in Yerevan on 3 and 4 May, themed "Building the Future: Unity and Stability in Europe."
The event in Armenia's capital will gather senior European political figures to promote closer cooperation and advance a more cohesive, resilient European framework. Espot will join a working session on "Strengthening Democratic Resilience and Countering Hybrid Threats," focusing on safeguarding democratic societies through joint efforts against foreign information manipulation and interference, as well as protecting critical infrastructure amid emerging technologies.
Beyond the session, Espot will hold bilateral meetings with various European counterparts. He will be accompanied by Secretary of State for Relations with the European Union Landry Riba and Andorra's ambassador to the EU, Vicenç Mateu.
