The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched a second call for grant applications to fund international development cooperation projects, following an unusually low number of submissions in the initial round that closed on 22 May.
The new round aims to increase access for Andorran civic entities and other non-profit actors to funding that supports collaboration with international counterparts and the execution of development projects. Applications must be submitted by 19 June.
Maximum grants per project stand at 45,000 euros, rising to 50,000 euros for initiatives targeting women or girls, in line with criteria outlined in the 2026 Master Plan for Sustainable International Development Cooperation. Awards will use the ordinary contracting method and direct allocation, as provided under Article 13.2 of Law 1/2026 of 22 January on the 2026 budget. Officials note that these voluntary development contributions do not permit competitive public tendering.
Submissions should be filed through the Government's Tràmits Service. Civic entities and non-profits are eligible to apply.
