The Andorran Council of Ministers approved subsidies totaling more than €444,000 on Wednesday for social inclusion programs and primary sector initiatives, as proposed by Social Affairs Minister Trini Marín and other departments.
Among the allocations, €81,435.34 went to nine non-profit organizations for 2026 projects addressing vulnerabilities such as youth at risk, autism, addiction, grief, intellectual disabilities, multiple sclerosis, and community engagement. The grants support prevention, recovery, sports inclusion, and artistic activities to build a more equitable society. Recipients include:
- Associació per la Defensa del Jovent en Risc (ADJRA): €4,593.75 for school coexistence and anti-bullying prevention.
- Associació de l’Espectre de l’Autisme d’Andorra (AUTEA): €22,775.70 for "Reconnecta," aiding adults with autism facing social isolation, psychiatric issues, and adaptive difficulties.
- COOPERAND amb Llatinoamèrica: €4,260 for "Juventia 26," a youth congress promoting inclusive communities.
- Creu Roja Andorrana: €3,745.31 to expand sociocultural activities for teleassistance users.
- Futbol Club Andorra: €22,500 for "Secció Genuine," improving quality of life through football for people with intellectual disabilities.
- Associació Marc GG: €6,256.81 for grief support services.
- Projecte Vida: €6,723.15 for addiction accompaniment, prison interventions, and destigmatization efforts.
- Associació TRANA-EM: €2,690.62 for adapted yoga and meditative music workshops for multiple sclerosis patients.
- La Xarranca – Associació Creadors: €7,890 for "Crear amb Sentit," using crafts and emotional awareness for inclusion and autonomy.
In parallel, the government approved €262,577.31 for 2026 animal welfare subsidies to livestock farms, a nearly 3% increase from 2025, encouraging sustainable practices. It also greenlit €100,773.37 for 2025 agricultural efforts maintaining natural landscapes, biodiversity, and risk prevention—an 18% rise from the prior year.
These measures highlight the executive's support for non-profits, farming, and ranching to address social and environmental priorities.
