  • Highlights rift with Andorra Endavant, cooperation with other opposition.

The governing coalition of Demòcrates and Ciutadans Compromesos has reached agreements on seven opposition resolutions presented during the Political Orientation Debate, after proposing 17 amendments in total. Four were negotiated with Concòrdia and three with the Partit Socialdemòcrata (PS), while all ten offered to Andorra Endavant were rejected outright.

Negotiations with Concòrdia and the PS concluded in recent hours, resulting in compromise texts. The agreed proposals from Concòrdia cover promoting artificial intelligence in public administration, establishing an European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (AECT), developing a single administrative portal for government bodies and public enterprises, and planning a national strategy for population beautification.

From the PS, the compromises include adopting a national framework of well-being indicators, creating a national residential effort index, and signing and ratifying the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families.

In contrast, Andorra Endavant, led by Carine Montaner, declined all overtures despite intensive efforts by the majority over recent days. The coalition stated that the party refused any joint approach or compromise text. Topics targeted for negotiation included easing first-time home purchases, making the worker regime fairer and more attractive, streamlining business openings and closures, strengthening life skills in education, and improving family information on activities involving sensitive content.

The outcome highlights growing distance between the majority and Andorra Endavant, while opening channels for occasional cooperation with other opposition groups.
