Andorran Delegation Attends 51st Francophonie Parliament in Cameroon

A delegation from Andorra's Consell General is taking part in the 51st session of the Assemblée Parlementaire de la Francophonie in Yaoundé, Cameroon, running from Tuesday until Sunday, July 12.

The Andorran representatives are headed by Marc Magallon, president of the delegation, alongside councillors Núria Segués and Pere Marsenyach. The opening days include gatherings of the bureau, the Network of Women Parliamentarians, the Network of Young Parliamentarians, and various working commissions to shape agenda items for the main discussions.

The plenary session, set for Friday through Sunday, centres on multilateralism and state sovereignty. Delegates will also examine the 2025 annual accounts and revise budget projections for 2026.

Held concurrently is the 11th Francophone Youth Parliament, featuring Andorran participants Clara Vila and Isaac Cabases. The young representatives will draft four resolutions for submission to the primary assembly and take part in a dedicated debate on climate change.
