The Andorra Fire Service received alerts around 2 p.m. about a smoke plume in the area. An initial flyover assessed the situation, followed by helicopter water drops as three firefighters arrived on the ground with hand tools and water backpacks.
The blaze affected scrubland, junipers, and a few pine trees across roughly 20 square metres. Ground teams encircled the affected zone, extinguished the flames, and checked for hotspots. The fire was declared fully out shortly after 5 p.m.
A significant rainstorm then hit Pas de la Casa, lasting nearly an hour and soaking the area to prevent any flare-ups. The rapid response drew on lessons from recent incidents at Coll de la Gallina and Ós de Civís, where fire risks prompted caution despite the limited scale.
