The Social Democratic parliamentary group has formally requested detailed balance sheets and income statements for the public entity BPA from 2014 to 2025, both years included, to support parliamentary oversight and enhance transparency in managing public resources.

Pere Baró, deputy president of the group and general councillor, filed the information request with the government through the General Council on Thursday. The initiative seeks comprehensive economic and financial records spanning BPA's establishment to the present, allowing legislators to evaluate its evolution and governance.

Lawmakers stressed that such documents are vital for the General Council to exercise its monitoring duties. They affirmed their resolve to leverage parliamentary mechanisms for ensuring accountability and the efficient handling of public funds.

BPA's finances remain under scrutiny in parliament. No government response has been issued to date.
