Pere Baró, deputy president and general councillor for the Social Democrats, filed the information request with the General Council on Thursday. The initiative seeks comprehensive economic and financial data on BPA from its establishment to the present, allowing lawmakers to analyse the entity's evolution and evaluate its management over the years.

The group stressed that the General Council requires access to this documentation to carry out effective scrutiny. They view it as vital for exercising control and upholding accountability.

In a statement, the Social Democrats affirmed they will keep using all available parliamentary mechanisms to promote transparency, demand accountability, and protect public funds.

BPA remains under continued parliamentary focus for its financial operations. The government has not yet responded to the request.
