This includes €10,000 for the ICC's Victims Trust Fund, which assists those affected by genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes through physical, psychological, and material support. In line with the Foreign Affairs ministry's priorities, the funds will this year support assistance programs in the Central African Republic, emphasizing gender-sensitive initiatives. The nation has endured multiple armed conflicts since gaining independence in 1960, with women and girls particularly impacted by sexual and gender-based violence.
An additional €4,400 will go to the Hague Academy of International Law, established in 1923 as a key center for public and private international law training. These resources will cover two €2,200 scholarships for international students in 2027—one for the summer course and one for the winter session. The Foreign Affairs ministry has previously partnered with the academy to fund scholarships for foreign participants. Separately, the Education and Higher Education ministry offers funding for a scholarship open to an Andorran student or resident.
