Andorra's citizen's assembly for the participatory process "Tracem el futur d’Andorra en un món que canvia" now has its full roster of 50 members, chosen from 457 applicants to reflect the country's diverse society.

Secretary of State for Equality and Citizen Participation Mariona Cadena shared the news on Monday at the Council of Ministers' press briefing. She said the steering committee would meet on Thursday to formally approve the lineup. Cadena highlighted the enthusiastic response to this key second phase, noting it had drawn far more interest than anticipated.

Selection criteria included nationality, gender, age, parish, employment status, education level, and professional sector, ensuring broad representation. Participants will earn 100 euros per day, in line with earlier government announcements.

The assembly forms the second stage of the initiative, started last October by the Government, General Council, and communes alongside direct public input. From 13 to 15 January 2026, the group will examine proposals collected in the initial phase from residents and various sectors across the parishes. They aim to draft a set of final recommendations for the institutions involved, with plans to share outcomes with the public before the first quarter of 2026 ends.
