Episcopal co‑prince Serrano Pentinat ends institutional visit to Sant Julià de Lòria

The episcopal co‑prince, Josep‑Lluís Serrano Pentinat, completed his final institutional visit to the Comú of Sant Julià de Lòria today as part of his tour of the parishes. The programme opened with an official reception at the Casa Comuna square, presided over by the consuls, and continued in the session hall where he was received by the councillors and the comú’s secretary general.

First consul Cerni Cairat delivered the welcome address, after which Serrano Pentinat spoke. He signed the Comú’s Golden Book (Llibre d’Or) and took part in an exchange of institutional gifts. The formal part of the visit concluded with an official photograph and a working meeting with the consuls.

The delegation then toured the Centre Cultural Lauredià, where Serrano Pentinat inspected the progress and interior spaces of the new cultural facility, underlining institutional support for the parish’s cultural development.

He also visited the Llar de Lòria care home, meeting residents and engaging in conversations that organisers described as moments of listening and proximity, emphasising the importance of ties between public institutions and the local community.

The visit reinforced the commitment to cooperation and dialogue between communal authorities and the institutions of the Principality.
