French Co-Prince Emmanuel Macron is scheduled to arrive in Andorra on the afternoon of 27 April for a 24-hour visit, with the main events on 28 April including a historic joint session of the Consell General alongside Episcopal Co-Prince Josep-Lluís Serrano Pentinat.

The itinerary, detailed following a recent Junta de Presidents meeting, focuses on institutional activities in Andorra la Vella. Macron, travelling with Brigitte Macron, will arrive on foot along Carrer de la Vall from Plaça Príncep Benlloch around 11am, welcomed by about 1,000 schoolchildren from Andorra's three education systems. At Plaça del Consell General, he will be greeted by Serrano Pentinat, and the two will proceed together into the Casa de la Vall. There, they will meet senior officials and sign the Golden Book in Síndic General Carles Ensenyat's office.

For the first time in Andorran history, the co-princes will preside jointly over a parliamentary session, seated side by side in the chamber. Ensenyat will open with a speech, followed by Macron; the event is set to last around one to one-and-a-half hours. It will end with a flag honour and national anthem in the plaza, along with an official photograph on the Casa de la Vall steps. Security measures will restrict public access to the square.

Subsíndica Sandra Codina described the occasion as projecting a "very powerful image of unity" within the institutional framework, similar to the protocol at Serrano Pentinat's constitutional oath last June.

Later that morning, Macron will address citizens at Plaça del Poble at 12.45pm, followed by a lunch hosted by Cap de Govern Serrano at the Rosaleda hotel, where he will speak again. At 4.30pm, both co-princes will receive Andorra's highest distinction, the Creu dels Set Braços, in a solemn ceremony at Meritxell sanctuary. Newly accredited ambassadors will present their credentials in their presence for the first time.

The visit replaces one cancelled last October due to France's political crisis after Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu's resignation. Foreign Minister Fernando Galindo contributed to initial planning. It is Macron's second appearance at the Consell General, after his trip on 13 September 2019. No parish visits are planned, though a school stop is included.
