  • Criticizes PS focus on her instead of housing, CASS pensions, Andorra's future.
  • Consens split due to David Pérez's conduct, now cut ties; praises Maria Carriço's consistency.

Rosa Gili, Escaldes-Engordany's cònsol major, has denied any intention of forming pacts with Concòrdia or other parties ahead of the next elections, dismissing Partit Socialdemòcrata (PS) assertions that her presence on Concòrdia lists would block potential alliances.

Speaking to the Andorran News Agency, Gili stated she has never expressed such a willingness. She noted her ineligibility for re-election at the communal level and expressed confusion over the PS position, calling it "quite surreal" that discussions centre on her personally rather than key challenges like housing, CASS pensions, and Andorra's broader future. Gili indicated the stance may not represent a firm party decision but rather views held by some individuals within it.

Addressing the Consens coalition's breakdown, Gili described the PS's recent actions as difficult to comprehend. She emphasised that the dispute was not with the party itself but with councillor David Pérez over his questionable conduct, which prompted a temporary suspension. Pérez subsequently crafted his own account, which the PS accepted, she said. Gili confirmed she now has no relationship with him and added that he "goes alone."

Gili highlighted the consistency of councillor Maria Carriço throughout the saga, expressing relief at her continued involvement. She described Carriço as a dedicated team player she did not know beforehand, who integrates seamlessly and represents the type of communal representative the parish needs.

The PS has not commented on Gili's remarks.
