Aracil had inspected the routes at the Italian venue the previous day before competing. His points tally includes 1,305 from his 13th place at the season-opening Montafon event, 535 from 24th at Kitzsteinhorn, and 1,770 from ninth at the Open Face Obertauren in Austria.
