MoraBanc Andorra coach Žan Tabak remains confident in his team's mental resilience despite their precarious position in the Liga ACB standings.

Speaking ahead of the trip to Granada, the Croatian coach dismissed concerns over any psychological fragility within the squad. "I'm not particularly worried about the mental aspect. So far, the team hasn't shown me any signs of weakness," Tabak said. He emphasised that his assessments are based on daily training and on-court performance rather than feelings. "I don't go by sensations, but by what I see. The team trains well and competes, and we haven't had issues there," he added, while noting that challenges could still arise.

The Tricolors sit in the relegation zone, with safety positions now just one win away following their recent loss in Granada and Burgos's victory at Nou Congost. Six rounds remain in the league, which Tabak views as ample opportunity to secure survival. "Every defeat is tough, especially when we're giving our maximum effort, but there's still a lot left. We need clear minds to keep fighting in these six games. As long as I'm coach, we'll battle until the last moment," he insisted.

Reflecting on the Granada defeat, Tabak pointed to squandered opportunities in the final quarter, where the hosts capitalised on the Andorrans' poor shooting and several "naive and crucial" defensive errors over six or seven possessions. He also highlighted ongoing physical disparities that have repeatedly hindered his side, particularly early in games, though they managed recoveries in the second and third periods.

On player fitness, Tabak adopted a cautious stance. He confirmed Marko Kuric is improving but offered no guarantees on Stan Okoye's potential return for upcoming key matches. "Everyone is fine today, but I don't know what tomorrow will bring," he said.
