Fifteen-year-old Noa Tesorero became the 69th debutant for Andorra's senior women's national football team—and the second-youngest in its history—during Wednesday's Premundial tournament opener against Azerbaijan at Estadi Nacional.

The forward, still eligible for under-17s and playing for AEM Lleida's juvenil side in Preferent, entered in the 89th minute to replace Clàudia Plaja under coach Albert Panadero, known as Pana. She played the final five minutes on the Estadi Nacional pitch, marking her transition from futsal with Enfaf Construccions Modernes and the parquet or synthetic surfaces of 40x20 indoor courts to the 105x68 outdoor grass.

Tesorero's debut ranks just behind Maria da Cruz's in 2018, when the latter appeared at 14 years and six months against Luxembourg at Comunal. Four years after representing the Catalan youth team at the Spanish Autonomous Regions Championship in Almería, Tesorero's brief senior bow highlighted her swift rise.

Reflecting on the moment, she said she felt "very happy to have debuted at home, in front of my family, friends and everyone who came to the stadium." She added gratitude to the staff for the unexpected chance: "I'm very thankful... I didn't expect it, honestly, and that makes it even more special."

Coach Pana advised her to enjoy the occasion and give everything, advice she credited to her training. Though nerves were present, the appearance underscored Andorra's push to integrate young talent into the senior squad.
