Registrations are now open for Andorra la Vella's spring school holiday activities, set for 26 to 29 May, with 330 places available in sports camps and educational leisure programmes to aid family work-life balance during the non-school period.
The sports department offers 195 places in specialised camps for children and young people aged 5 to 16, according to the discipline. Options include football (45 places), basketball (40), volleyball (30), swimming and racket sports (30), plus multi-sports and rhythmic gymnastics (25 each).
The social affairs department provides 135 leisure spots for children aged 3 to 7, with 90 at the El Llamp children's centre and 45 at the Santa Coloma play centre.
Andorra la Vella residents have priority, registering from Monday 11 May, while other Andorran residents begin on 18 May. Basketball and volleyball camps, organised by the Andorran Basketball Federation and Club Vòlei Andorra, accept registrations from everyone starting 11 May.
Capital residents receive a 29% discount on fees by emailing the sports department beforehand with the child's name and CASS number. Sign-ups occur via the Andorra la Vella commune website, with information at the Centre Esportiu dels Serradells.
The social affairs department continues financial assistance for families unable to pay, ensuring no child misses the holiday activities.
