MoraBanc Andorra heads into a pivotal Liga Endesa relegation battle against La Laguna Tenerife on Saturday at 8pm, with Stan Okoye's return bolstering coach Zan Tabak's squad amid six remaining "finals."

The Andorrans, mired in the drop zone and two victories from safety, face a stern test on the Canary Islands. La Laguna, sixth with a 17-11 record, boasts a strong home record, having lost just three times there under coach Txus Vidorreta. Tabak described the visitors as a "differential" side in the league, praising their ability to execute game plans effectively as a unit rather than relying on individuals like Marcelinho Huertas or ex-Andorra forward Giorgi Shermadini.

Okoye's availability marks a key boost after his March 21 right knee internal ligament injury against Bilbao Basket. "He's already with the team," Tabak said Friday, highlighting the American's physical edge and league know-how. The coach also addressed the emotional fallout from a recent Granada defeat, saying the group had worked hard on that aspect but arrived "recovered and ready to compete."

Tabak acknowledged the Tenerife court's difficulty for all opponents but drew optimism from Andorra's first-ever win at Río Breogán last month. "If that was possible, why not this?" he said. With rivals improving and claiming points, he urged focus on self-improvement. "The objective is still in our hands—we must centre on ourselves and win," Tabak emphasised, avoiding fixation on others' results.
