Andorran Therapist Débora Eunice Wins Triple Gold at European Masseurs Championship

Andorran therapist Débora Eunice secured three gold medals at the 2026 European Professional Masseurs Championship in Paris, triumphing in the Wellness, Spa Beauty, and Face & Head categories.

The event, held from 21 to 24 May, brought together over 480 professionals from 40 countries, with nearly 6,000 massages performed across two days. This edition featured updated judging standards, such as workspace setup, client empathy, and innovative approaches. In the grand final, Eunice earned nominations in four areas among seven finalists selected from all entrants: stage presence, empathy and communication, innovation, and best overall technique. She stood out as the only finalist who remained on stage throughout her demonstrations.

Eunice, a masseuse and cosmetologist, represented Andorra solo and became its sole athlete to claim such European honours. After three years of success in facial treatments, she challenged herself in Spa Beauty, linked to a major professional project. "I wanted to gauge how effectively my work was being executed and whether it could gain recognition," she explained. The jury responded with gold in the category.

"I'm prouder of myself than words can convey. I've surpassed anything I thought possible," Eunice said. She highlighted the pride of competing alone for her country against 40 nations: "Arriving at this stage as Andorra's only representative is both an honour and a triumph."

Eunice showcased exceptional versatility and technical mastery, captivating judges across disciplines. She now aims to advance her training in Western Massage and sports massage, targeting the world championship.
