Andorran Stars Morató and Rosas Win Promotions in Dramatic Spanish Playoff Finals

Andorran internationals Tere Morató and Berto Rosas secured promotions for Valencia CF and UD Logroñés in dramatic Spanish playoff finals on Saturday, capping a standout season for both players.

Morató, captain of Andorra's senior women's team, returned to Liga F—Spain's top women's division—two years after her last spell there. Valencia finished third in Primera Federación with 46 points, trailing only Barça B and Alavés. "I decided to go down to Segunda to get minutes and regain confidence," she said. In San Sebastián de los Reyes, injured Rosas—on loan from his FC Andorra—watched from the stands as Logroñés rose to Primera RFEF. Third in Segunda RFEF Group 2 and the league's top scorers, with Rosas netting 18 goals this season, they dispatched Getafe B 2-0 away and 2-1 at home in the first round. Rosas scored in the 2-0 win and the 1-0 first leg against UD San Sebastián de los Reyes, but a second-half injury sidelined him for the decider and national team call-up.
