Darragh Joseph Hobbs, an Andorra resident, took first place in the scratch category at the Grandvalira Golf Soldeu Inaugural Tournament, the second round of the 2026 Andorran National Golf Circuit.

The one-day event at Grandvalira Golf Soldeu in Aravell attracted 40 players and benefited from favourable weather conditions.

In addition to Hobbs's scratch win, other category victors included Peter Howe with 38 points in the lower handicap division; Joan Canet with 33 points and Manuel Torrades with 30 points, both in the upper handicap group; Celia Huarte with 28 points as the top female player; and Hugo Fernández with 28 points in the junior category.

Organisers have scheduled the circuit's third event for 12 September as the Andorra Cup, also at Grandvalira Golf Soldeu.
